Privacy Policy
Forte Apps LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the SAPD Calls mobile application, API, admin portal, and this website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Service.
Information we collect
- Account data: username, email address, and a hashed password when you register.
- Usage and device data: app version, approximate request metadata (such as IP address and timestamps in server logs), and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Location data (optional): if you enable proximity alerts, we collect location while the app is in use and, if you allow it, in the background so we can notify you about nearby active calls.
- Push tokens: device push tokens (via Expo / Apple Push Notification service) when you enable notifications.
- Support tickets: messages and metadata you submit through the support portal.
- Call data: we ingest publicly released San Antonio Police Department active call-for-service information. That source data is public; we store and display it to provide the Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service

Retention
We retain account, location check-in, push token, and support data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, abuse prevention, and legal compliance, unless a shorter period is required by law.
Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
